After a long search for the right partners, Suomy Spa has committed, on one side, the young company SAKARTDESIGN from Tuscany for the study of the product and, on the other side, engaged his regular partners, such as Felice Manzoni - leader in the modeling of cycle helmets and already father of the victorious motorcycle helmets with the Company team work - for the construction and industrialization of the product.
The collaboration of Suomy with the cyclists of Lampre Merida Team suggested the guide lines , and the result is a product of high technological level, available in stores from the first week of April.
Technically GUN WIND offers some of the best technological solutions. Made with "in-molding" technique, the helmet has the outer shell made of polycarbonate, inside and outside the polystyrene there is a reinforcement made of thermoplastic resin composite which makes the product more rigid and safety, and the use of a low density polystyrene gives a greater lightness and comfort .Comfort obtained also thanks to the SMC study, also said Suomy-Minimum-Contact study.
This particular research allows the realization of a natural interspace between the helmet and the head for an amazing inner ventilation.
The accurate use of adjustments, very comfortable materials , removable and easily washable inner linings, make this product an extremely racing helmet , but also very suitable to the general public for its “easy to use” versatility.
